FALL CLEANUP -- Completed. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION!
INSPECTION SCHEDULE FOR SAFETY PURPOSES:
- Furnaces need to be inspected by November 1st of each year (before you use them) This ensures you that there will be no carbon monoxide problems or gas leaks when you run your furnace.
- Fireplace flues need to be cleaned every other year (even years 2012, 2014 etc.) by November 1st, if you burn wood logs. If you have a gas burning fireplace, you need only to have it inspected once and have it certified as gas burning. If you don't use your fireplace at all you need to have that certified also. Mike can certify gas burning fireplaces and fireplaces that have not been used. If you do not use your fireplace, you may get it sealed and then you won't have to worry about the inspection schedule.
- Dryer vents need cleaned by August 2010 and then every 2 years after that. ie. 2012, 2014 etc. Mike can be scheduled to clean your dryer vent for a fee of $50.00 and this needs to be done after hours or on weekends or you may use any company of your choice.
- A/C needs to be inspected by May 1st each year (before you use them) This ensures the electrical connections are good and that the air conditioner is charged.
You may drop your copies of the above inspections at the clubhouse mailbox and Mike will be sure to keep it on file so that everyone knows your building is safe. You may also mail them to Elite and Debbie will keep them on file. Mike and Debbie will review their lists to ensure that they are accurate. Owners that do not get these inspections done are in violation of the rules and regulations and neglect can cause fires, explosions and even carbon monoxide deaths.
